TÜSKA’s International Activities Have Been Published in the ISQua EEA Newsletter

The international newsletter entitled “Update from our Clients,” published by the Geneva, Switzerland-based External Evaluation Association of the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua EEA), featured the national and international activities carried out by the Türkiye Health Care Quality and Accreditation Institute (TÜSKA) in the field of healthcare quality and accreditation.

The newsletter, which highlights recent activities of healthcare quality and accreditation organisations operating in different countries around the world, presented TÜSKA’s accreditation activities, international collaborations, training programmes, and efforts to promote a culture of quality in healthcare to the international community.

The newsletter stated that, as of July 2026, TÜSKA had received 195 new accreditation applications, continued its activities with 411 accreditation surveyors, and reached a total of 34 accredited healthcare organisations.

As part of TÜSKA’s international activities, it was reported that technical cooperation with the Ministry of Health of Sri Lanka is continuing to support the development of a national healthcare accreditation system and strengthen surveyor capacity. It was also noted that accreditation preparation, assessment, and capacity-building activities were carried out at the Türkiye–Albania Fier Friendship Hospital in Albania.

The newsletter also featured the TÜSKA Accreditation Preparation Training held at the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Bishkek Kyrgyz-Turkish Friendship Public Hospital, aimed at enhancing healthcare professionals’ knowledge of accreditation standards and quality improvement processes.

The inclusion of TÜSKA’s activities in the international newsletter published by ISQua EEA is considered to contribute to increasing the Institute’s international visibility in the field of healthcare quality and accreditation and to the recognition of its activities on international platforms.
