Accreditation Programmes Unit
The Accreditation Programmes Unit is responsible for defining and effectively managing healthcare accreditation processes at both the national and international levels. The responsibilities of the Unit are as follows:
- To prepare and develop national accreditation programmes.
- To receive, evaluate, and manage national and international accreditation applications.
- To carry out all activities and procedures related to accreditation processes within the scope of accreditation programmes.
- To implement the decisions referred to the Unit by the President of the Institute, based on the opinions, recommendations, and advisory decisions of the Scientific Committees within the scope of the Unit’s responsibilities.
- To contribute to the Commission established by the Presidency of the Institute regarding programmes promoting healthy living in areas outside healthcare services and to report its outcomes.
- To prepare draft guidelines to be used in national accreditation programmes in accordance with the relevant Regulation.
- To plan and implement processes for collecting user feedback on accreditation programmes.
- To carry out activities related to the preparation and publication of books, manuals, publications, and other materials required within the scope of accreditation programmes.
- To prepare, maintain, update, and retain all records and documents related to the Unit’s area of responsibility.
- To monitor national and international scientific publications in the fields of quality and accreditation.
- To perform any other duties assigned by the Presidency of the Institute.
