TÜSKA Has Participated in an International Webinar on Patient-Centered Care
The Türkiye Health Care Quality and Accreditation Institute (TÜSKA) participated in the 13th International Patient-Centered Care Institute (PCCI) Webinar, held online on 14 August 2026.
The webinar addressed the importance of the doctor-patient relationship and trust-based communication in patient-centered care, while also highlighting the impact of communication problems on patient safety. It was emphasized that communication breakdowns are among the root causes of adverse events and that failure to establish a shared understanding among patients, their families, and the healthcare team may lead to a loss of trust, undermine the principles of patient-centered care, and result in adverse outcomes.
TÜSKA continues to follow scientific events that promote international knowledge and experience sharing aimed at improving healthcare quality and patient safety, while contributing to national and international efforts to strengthen the patient-centered approach in healthcare.
