TUSKA International Accreditation Science Board
TÜSKA International Accreditation Scientific Board; It consists of a total of nine people, including the President of the Institute and eight members.
The President of the Institute carries out the chairman of the TÜSKA International Accreditation Scientific Board. In the absence of the President of the Institute, a member appointed by the President of the Institute presides. Board members are selected from among individuals who have experience in the field of quality health quality accreditation and have at least a bachelor's degree.
The term of office of the members of the Board is two years. Members whose term of office has expired can be appointed for a maximum of two more terms.
The Chairman of the Board determines the agenda of the Board.
Those who do not attend the Board meeting three or five times in a year for any reason other than the excuses accepted by the board, and those who do not attend more than half of the meetings held within a year, even if they are excused, will automatically lose their membership in the TÜSKA International Accreditation Science Board.
In case one of the Board memberships becomes vacant for any reason, the vacant membership is assigned upon the proposal of the President of the Institute and the approval of the Chairman.
The meeting procedures and principle of the Board are as follows:
- The Board holds its ordinary meeting at least once every three months on dates to be determined by the Chairman of the Board. The Board may decided on an extraordinary meeting upon the written application of more than half of its members or upon the call of the Chairman of the Board.
- The quorum for the Board meeting is five. Decisions are taken by majority vote. Abstentions cannot be used in voting. In case of equal votes, the decision is taken in the direction of the Chairman of the Board.
The duties and responsibilities of the TÜSKA International Accreditation Scientific Committee are as follows:
- Making recommendations for determining policies, strategies and targets regarding international accreditation and making necessary updates.
- Creating guidelines and standard sets to be used within the scope of international accreditation programs and presenting them to the Board of Directors with the approval of the President of the Institute.
- On international accreditation issues; to make recommendations regarding the execution of promotional activities abroad and activities aimed at informing the public.
- To take advisory decisions regarding the Accreditation Programs and the procedures and principles of these programs.
- Making recommendations for meeting, trainig, symposiums and scientific activities.
- Establishing sub-boards and working groups if deemed necessary.
- To invite experts or technical experts to obtain information if deemed necessary.
