Accreditation Training Held at Health Sciences University Van Training and Research Hospital
As part of its efforts to enhance the quality and safety of healthcare services, the Türkiye Healthcare Quality and Accreditation Institute (TÜSKA) conducted an Accreditation Training at the Health Sciences University Van Training and Research Hospital on July 28, 29, 30, and 31, 2026. As part of TÜSKA’s on-site accreditation training programs for healthcare facilities, the Institute visited the Health Sciences University Van Training and Research Hospital on this occasion.
The TÜSKA Institution-Based Practical Accreditation Training Program was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Remzi Sarıkaya, Chief Physician of the Health Sciences University Van Training and Research Hospital; Specialist Dr. Mert Cenker Güney, Deputy Chief Physician responsible for Quality Management; Gülsüm Uçar, Director of Nursing Services; Nusret Mermit, Director of Administrative and Financial Services; Ali Furkan Gümüş, Director of Quality Support Services; Halil Çelsi, Director of Technical Services; Kamer Akyol Aytürk, Director of Quality Management; Adem Koç, Hospital Quality Representative; and healthcare professionals working at the hospital. TÜSKA Healthcare Accreditation Surveyors Specialist Dr. Zekeriya Gümüş and Nida Erçoban served as trainers during the program.
Throughout the training, the hospital’s operations were comprehensively examined within the framework of accreditation standards, and participants were provided with practical and guiding information. The interactive training addressed the hospital’s level of compliance with accreditation standards through hands-on applications using patient tracers and system tracers.
The accreditation training programs organized by TÜSKA continue to make significant contributions to the development of safe, high-quality, and sustainable healthcare services.
