World Patient Safety Day Event in Türkiye on ISQua's News
The International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua) has published on its official website the event held in Türkiye within the scope of World Patient Safety Day 2025.
In Türkiye, on 17 September 2025, the Türkiye Health Care Quality and Accreditation Institute (TÜSKA), in cooperation with Bilkent City Hospital, organized a World Patient Safety Day Symposium under the main theme “Safe Care is the Right Care.”
The World Health Organization (WHO) defines the relationship between health service processes and patient safety as one of the most critical factors of health care quality. Within this framework, the topic was one of the focal points of the symposium. The event aimed to raise public awareness, promote a culture of safety in health care services, enhance stakeholder collaboration, highlight the role of accreditation in improving patient safety, and share best practices. The symposium addressed patient safety from the perspectives of clinical practice, medical services, health care services, institutional leadership, and accreditation.
