Within The Scope of the International Health Tourism Cooperation Protocol, A Meeting Has Been Held
Within the scope of the International Health Tourism Cooperation Protocol signed between the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Ministry of Health, a meeting was held on 10 November 2025 at the Ministry of Health Bilkent Campus with the participation of the relevant parties.
The meeting was attended by USHAŞ General Manager Mr. Serdar Şenol, TÜSKA President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bayram Demir, representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, officials from the Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA), the Department of Health Tourism of the General Directorate of Health Services, TÜSKA Academic Member Prof. Dr. Umut Beylik, and Accreditation Programmes Unit Coordinator Mr. Ahmet Aslancan.
As a result of the discussions held within the framework of the protocol articles, a roadmap to be followed was determined during the meeting. The studies to be carried out by the parties until the next meeting were discussed. Health tourism activities, which are considered of strategic importance for our country, are being carried out within the scope of inter-institutional cooperation, and TÜSKA is ready to fulfill its role within the framework of health tourism.
