Visit from Güven Hospital to TÜSKA on Accreditation Process
On April 11, 2025, the General Manager of Güven Hospital, Specialist Dr. Hakkı AKMAN, along with the hospital delegation, paid an official visit to the Turkish Healthcare Quality and Accreditation Institute (TÜSKA) to receive information about the TÜSKA accreditation process.
During the meeting, Dr. Hakkı AKMAN stated that the hospital is currently engaged in preparatory efforts toward TÜSKA accreditation, emphasizing that the process has made a positive contribution to fostering a culture of quality and patient safety within the institution. Associate Professor Dr. Bayram DEMİR, President of TÜSKA, underlined that accreditation is a key tool in promoting a patient-centered and safety-oriented institutional culture in healthcare facilities, particularly hospitals, across the country. He also expressed his satisfaction with the visit and the fruitful exchange of ideas.
TÜSKA places great importance on providing guidance and information to both public and private healthcare institutions regarding quality and accreditation processes. In this regard, the Institute continues to support initiatives that encourage and promote the adoption of quality improvement practices in healthcare facilities.
