TÜSKA Participated in the “USKAF-IX National Health Quality Forum – Healthcare Services for Disadvantaged Groups”

The “USKAF-IX National Health Quality Forum – Healthcare Services for Disadvantaged Groups” was held on April 27–28 at the Kocaeli Congress Center.

Within the scope of the workshop, which consisted of four sessions, the following topics were addressed: Health Management and Policies for Disadvantaged Groups, Existing Healthcare Services for Disadvantaged Groups, Quality and Accreditation in Healthcare for Disadvantaged Groups, and Different Disadvantaged Groups and Healthcare Services.

Under the theme “Quality and Accreditation in Healthcare for Disadvantaged Groups,” TÜSKA academician Prof. Dr. Keziban Avcı contributed to the workshop with a presentation titled “Developing Specific Indicators for Disadvantaged Groups.”

During the sessions, the importance of a team-based approach in delivering healthcare services to disadvantaged groups, strengthening coordination in service processes, and promoting patient-centered practices were comprehensively discussed.

In line with its mission to add value to healthcare services, TÜSKA will continue its efforts to enhance the quality of healthcare services and maintain collaboration with all stakeholders operating in this field.
