TÜSKA Participated in the 2nd Council on Ageing
Türkiye Healthcare Quality and Accreditation Institute (TÜSKA) participated in the 2nd Council on Ageing held in Ankara under the auspices of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The programme, attended by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz and Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, addressed ageing policies from a comprehensive perspective.
During the Council, key topics such as active and healthy ageing, the development of care services, strengthening the rights of older persons, and ensuring the sustainability of services were highlighted. The event, which brought together public institutions, academia, and relevant stakeholders, provided a platform to discuss strategic approaches towards building an age-friendly Türkiye model.
Representing TÜSKA, Specialist Ceren Can and Cemile Yılmaz Kolat participated in the programme. During the event, views were exchanged on the integration of national and international quality and accreditation approaches into elderly care services.
