TÜSKA Health Accreditation Surveyor Candidate Basic Training Program Completed
The theoretical component of the TÜSKA Health Accreditation Surveyor Candidate Basic Training Program, accredited by the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua), was successfully completed between 6–10 October 2025, hosted by Ankara Bilkent City Hospital.
More than 30 trainers and over 150 Health Accreditation Surveyor Candidates participated in the program.
The program also welcomed the participation of Prof. Dr. Nuh Zafer Cantürk, Rector of Kocaeli University, who delivered a presentation titled “Patient Safety and Leadership.”
In his speech, Prof. Dr. Cantürk emphasized that strong leadership, effective communication, and teamwork are the fundamental components of patient safety.
TÜSKA President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bayram Demir, in his closing remarks, expressed his gratitude to all participants and stated:
“This program has gone beyond knowledge sharing and has brought together the culture of quality and safety on a common ground.
Our surveyor candidates are the strongest representatives of the journey toward excellence in healthcare.”
At the end of the training, a written examination was conducted to assess participants’ achievements and evaluate program competencies. The practical component of the training program will be carried out in various healthcare facilities during the first week of November.
The program has made a significant contribution to enhancing healthcare quality, strengthening patient and staff safety, and promoting the culture of accreditation.
