The Türkiye Health Care Quality and Accreditation Institute (TÜSKA) represented Türkiye by participating in the 5th International PCCI Webinar organized under the coordination of the Indonesian Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals (KARS), in collaboration with the Patient-Centered Care Institute (PCCI) and the Asian Society for Quality in Health Care (ASQua).

During the international webinar titled “Centered Care in Ireland: Experience & Insights,” real-life experiences and best practice examples related to person-centered care in Ireland were discussed. At the meeting attended by TÜSKA’s International Programs Unit, the impact of the patient-centered approach on quality improvement, patient safety, and sustainable healthcare systems was evaluated from a global perspective.

Within the scope of the webinar, TÜSKA took the floor on behalf of Türkiye and shared information on how patient safety and participation are addressed within accreditation standards. TÜSKA also exchanged views on the applicability of international best practices in Türkiye.

The meeting served as an important platform for strengthening experience sharing within the global quality network and for advancing person-centered approaches in healthcare services.

TÜSKA continues to maintain international cooperation in the fields of healthcare quality, accreditation, and patient safety, and to share Türkiye’s experience on global platforms.
