TÜSKA Has Been Participated in the World Health Leaders Network (WHLNet) Broadcast
The Türkiye Health Care Quality and Accreditation Institute (TÜSKA), participated in the international broadcast entitled “Why Do Leadership and Management Matter in Healthcare? What Do They Actually Contribute?”, organised online by the World Health Leaders Network (WHLNet) on 18 June 2026.
The event focused on the role of leadership and management in healthcare, examining why leadership and management are important in healthcare systems and their impact on the quality, safety, and sustainability of healthcare services.
The session brought together healthcare leaders, academics, and healthcare managers from different countries to discuss a range of contemporary topics, including trust-based leadership, psychological safety, continuous quality improvement, organisational culture, accountability, and the effective management of transformation processes within healthcare systems.
The broadcast also highlighted that the fundamental components of effective healthcare leadership include connection, integrity, and impact, and emphasised the critical role of leadership in fostering sustainable development and a culture of continuous improvement within healthcare organisations.
TÜSKA continues to closely follow international developments in healthcare quality, patient safety, and accreditation, while actively representing Türkiye on global knowledge-sharing platforms.
