TÜSKA Accreditation Information Meeting for Healthcare Facilities Has Been Conducted in Afyonkarahisar
On 09 May 2026, a TÜSKA Accreditation Information Meeting was held at the Conference Hall of Afyonkarahisar Public Hospital, hosted by the Afyonkarahisar Provincial Directorate of Health. The meeting was attended by TÜSKA President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bayram Demir, Advisor to the Minister of Health Dr. Hasan Güler, Afyonkarahisar Provincial Director of Health Dr. Hakkı Öztürk, as well as administrators from public, private and university healthcare facilities in Afyonkarahisar.
The meeting was moderated by Dr. Hasan Güler and Provincial Director of Health Dr. Hakkı Öztürk. During the session, Advisor to the Minister of Health Dr. Hasan Güler provided information regarding TÜSKA Accreditation and the future perspective of the Ministry of Health on accreditation. Provincial Director of Health Dr. Hakkı Öztürk emphasized that they attach great importance to TÜSKA Accreditation within the scope of quality improvement activities in all public, private and university healthcare facilities across the province and stated that healthcare facilities should direct their activities accordingly.
In the presentation delivered by TÜSKA President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bayram Demir, participants were informed about the legal framework, standards sets, accreditation programs and processes within the scope of TÜSKA Accreditation, as well as TÜSKA’s international position. In the final part of the program, participants’ questions, opinions and feedback were received and answered by the TÜSKA President.
We would like to express our great satisfaction with the strong interest shown by public and private healthcare facilities in the meeting held in Afyonkarahisar. TÜSKA will continue to organize on-site meetings in order to inform stakeholders and receive their feedback.
