The Isqua’s 41st International Conference Was Held In São Paulo, Brazil, With The Participation Of TÜSKA
The 41st International Conference of the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua) was held in São Paulo, Brazil, between 12–15 October 2025.
On behalf of the Türkiye Health Care Quality and Accreditation Institute (TÜSKA), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bayram Demir, President of TÜSKA and Member of the ISQua External Evaluation Association (EEA) Executive Board, attended the conference.
During the conference, TÜSKA President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bayram Demir met with ISQua President Dr. Ezequiel Garcia Elorrio, ISQua CEO Dr. Carsten Engel, ISQua Board Member Dr. Sodzi Sodzi Tettey, ISQua Honorary Advisor Anna Edwards, and Board Members Ulfat Shaikh, Handjaja Rono Sulistyo, and Djoni Darmadjaja.
In addition, meetings were held with ISQua Head of Operations Eadin Murphy and members of the conference organizing committee to discuss TÜSKA’s ongoing accreditation activities and potential international collaboration opportunities.
Furthermore, during the meeting with Nikhil Parakash Gupta, Technical Officer for Patient Safety and Quality of Care at the World Health Organization (WHO), meetings were held on global patient safety policies, quality indicators, and inter-country capacity-building processes.
The ISQua 2025 Conference aimed to strengthen global knowledge sharing, promote best practices, and enhance international cooperation in the field of health care quality and accreditation.
