The Fourth Online Training on Quality and Accreditation Has Been Held in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus
As part of the efforts carried out to strengthen the quality management system in hospitals affiliated with the Ministry of Health of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, the fourth session of the online training program titled “Sterilization Services Standards” was held on March 27, 2026.
The training program was conducted by Specialist Dr. Ayhan Kalyoncu, a member of TÜSKA’s Patient and Employee Safety Scientific Committee. Within the scope of the program, the practices required to be implemented in healthcare facilities were discussed in line with the Sterilization Services Standards, and the contributions of these standards to enhancing patient and employee safety, as well as improving service quality, were evaluated in detail. A total of 45 representatives from various healthcare institutions across the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus participated in the meeting.
It is planned that quality and accreditation activities carried out by TÜSKA will continue in the upcoming period through new meetings and training programs.
