The First Meeting of the TÜSKA Accreditation Scientific Committee Has Been Held: A New Vision for Quality in Healthcare
The Accreditation Scientific Committee of TÜSKA, the Türkiye Health Services Quality and Accreditation Institute, held its first meeting on March 23, 2026, under the chairmanship of the President of the Institute, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bayram Demir.
The meeting was attended by the members of the TÜSKA Accreditation Scientific Committee: Prof. Dr. Hanefi Özbek, Prof. Dr. Haydar Sur, Prof. Dr. Tuba Bezgin, Prof. Dr. Elif Dikmetaş Yardan, Prof. Dr. Sabahattin Tekingündüz, Specialist Dr. Ali Niyazi Kurtcebe, and Dr. Özlem Ecemiş.
Within the scope of the main agenda item of the meeting, titled “Strategic Proposals for the Dissemination of Accreditation Domestically and Internationally,” comprehensive evaluations were conducted on increasing TÜSKA’s effectiveness in the international arena, promoting the Turkish healthcare accreditation model on a global scale, and developing collaborations with different countries.
It is aimed that the meeting will contribute to strengthening TÜSKA’s leadership role in the field of quality and accreditation in healthcare at both national and international levels, and to the establishment of a strategic roadmap for the future.
