The Cooperation Meeting Between TÜSKA and The Senegal Kédougou Amath Dansokho Regional Hospital Has Been Held Online
Within the scope of the ongoing “TÜSKA Accreditation Cooperation” between the Türkiye Health Care Quality and Accreditation Institute (TÜSKA) and the Senegal Kédougou Amath Dansokho Regional Hospital (CHRADK), an online meeting was held on 12 November 2025.
The meeting was attended by TÜSKA President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bayram DEMİR; TÜSKA Accreditation Executive and Certification Board (AYBK) Member Hasan Güler, MD; CHRADK Director-General Dr. Youssou Mbargane GUEYE; Head of Administrative and Financial Services Dr. Cheikh Amala CISSOKHO; Head of Audit and Internal Control Services Papa Khaly FAYE; Accounting Officer Fodélaye Sané; Head of Quality, Hygiene, Safety and Environmental Services Papa Massaer Diallo; Head of Nursing Services Moustspha Thioub; Head of Technical Maintenance Services Babacar Thiam; Head of Management Control Services Mbaye Lo; and representatives of TÜSKA.
During the meeting, the hospital’s accreditation process and the scope of the cooperation protocol to be established, the implementation phases of the activities under the protocol, the roadmap to be followed in the upcoming period, and the joint work to be carried out in the field of healthcare quality were addressed.
TÜSKA President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bayram DEMİR stated that they attach great importance to international cooperation in the field of healthcare quality and accreditation, emphasizing that the process carried out with this hospital affiliated with the Ministry of Health of Senegal will contribute to strengthening the quality infrastructure of healthcare services between the two countries. DEMİR also provided information on the fundamental principles and key elements of accreditation, the functioning of the process, the implementation of accreditation sets, and the planned improvement activities.
AYBK Member Hasan GÜLER, MD, in his remarks, stated that accreditation is a transformative tool not only for institutions but also for the professional development of all healthcare personnel and for the quality of services.
CHRADK Director-General Dr. Youssou Mbargane GUEYE stated that the joint efforts carried out with TÜSKA would provide significant contributions to the Regional Hospital and to the Senegalese health system.
At the meeting, a decision was taken to initiate the official procedures for CHRADK to be included in the accreditation process conducted by TÜSKA.
TÜSKA continues its efforts in line with its vision of promoting a culture of quality and patient safety in healthcare through international collaborations, and will continue to maintain strong ties with the relevant institutions.
