Private Medicana International Istanbul Hospital Has Been Accredited by TÜSKA
In line with the decision taken at the 7th Accreditation Executive and Certification Board meeting held on 6 May 2026, the SAS Accreditation Certificate was presented by the Türkiye Health Care Quality and Accreditation Institute (TÜSKA) to Private Medicana International Istanbul Hospital, which successfully completed the accreditation process, at a certificate presentation ceremony.
The opening speeches of the ceremony were delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bayram Demir, Head of TÜSKA; Dr. Deniz Yorgancılar, General Manager of Private Medicana International Istanbul Hospital; and Özlem Akbulut, Director of Quality and Patient Rights at Medicana Health Group. In his speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bayram Demir stated that quality and accreditation activities in healthcare make significant contributions to the institutional development of healthcare organizations. He emphasized that accreditation is not merely an assessment of compliance with standards, but also an important mechanism that enables healthcare institutions to adopt patient safety, service quality, and a culture of continuous improvement at the organizational level.
The TÜSKA SAS Accreditation Certificate, documenting the accreditation achievement of Private Medicana International Istanbul Hospital, was presented to the hospital management by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bayram Demir, President of TÜSKA. The ceremony was attended by Demet Gürsoy, Group President of Human Resources at Medicana Health Group; Specialist Dr. A. Erdal İbanoğlu, Director of Medical Services; Prof. Dr. Umut Beylik, TÜSKA Academic Member; as well as hospital executives, healthcare professionals, and invited guests.
It was noted that this achievement of Private Medicana International Istanbul Hospital, which provides healthcare services in line with international standards and continues its activities with a patient-centred approach and a quality-oriented management philosophy, is an important indicator of its commitment to excellence in healthcare services and a culture of continuous improvement.
