Gaziler FTR Hospital Re-Accredited by TÜSKA

In line with the decision taken at the 5th Accreditation Executive and Certification Board meeting held on 5 March 2026, the accreditation certificate was presented in a ceremony organized by the Turkish Healthcare Quality and Accreditation Institute (TÜSKA) to Gaziler Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Training and Research Hospital, which successfully completed its accreditation processes.

Opening speeches at the certificate presentation ceremony were delivered by Prof. Dr. Engin Koyuncu, Chief Physician of Gaziler Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Training and Research Hospital; Hakan Usta, Head of Public Hospitals Services of Ankara Provincial Health Directorate Bilkent Region; Dr. Ali Niyazi Kurtcebe, Ankara Provincial Health Director; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bayram Demir, President of TÜSKA.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bayram Demir stated that the change management process carried out in the field of healthcare quality and accreditation under the leadership of the Minister of Health has strengthened the culture of trust, stability, and continuous improvement in healthcare services. He emphasized that accreditation is not merely a certificate, but also a significant indicator of a sustainable quality approach in healthcare services, and highlighted that Gaziler Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Hospital’s achievement of receiving the accreditation certificate for the third consecutive time represents an important success.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bayram Demir also noted that healthcare institutions are evaluated at gold, silver, and bronze levels within the value-based accreditation system implemented by TÜSKA.

The certificate presentation ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Engin Koyuncu, Chief Physician of Gaziler Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Training and Research Hospital; Deputy Chief Physicians Assoc. Prof. Dr. İlkay Karabay and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sibel Mandıroğlu; Hafize Yıldız, Director of Nursing Services; Mehmet Yoldaş, Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs; Deputy Directors of Administrative and Financial Affairs Kamil Koç and Ali Ateş; Fatma Yapıcı, Quality Management Officer; Quality Management Unit staff; as well as hospital administrators, healthcare professionals, and invited guests.

It was stated that this achievement of Gaziler Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Training and Research Hospital, which provides qualified rehabilitation services through its multidisciplinary healthcare team, is an important indicator of institutional stability and a quality-oriented healthcare service approach.
