Accreditation Training Has Been Held at Dr. Abdurrahman Yurtaslan Ankara Oncology Training and Research Hospital
An Accreditation Training was held on 6 January 2026 at Dr. Abdurrahman Yurtaslan Ankara Oncology Training and Research Hospital by the Türkiye Health Care Quality and Accreditation Institute (TÜSKA), with the aim of improving quality and safety in healthcare services.
The TÜSKA Accreditation Information Training Program, organized at Dr. Abdurrahman Yurtaslan Ankara Oncology Training and Research Hospital as the next stop of the on-site accreditation training programs conducted for healthcare institutions, started with the opening speeches of TÜSKA President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bayram Demir and Hospital Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Fevzi Altuntaş. TÜSKA officials Prof. Dr. Umut Beylik, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Keziban Avcı, Dr. Demet Gökmen Kavak, Dr. Zuhal Çayırtepe, as well as Healthcare Accreditation Surveyors Dt. Volkan Sozan and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alper Yavuz took part in the program as speakers.
The training, carried out with the participation of hospital management, quality unit staff, and healthcare professionals working in clinical units, addressed the following topics: the Purpose, Scope, and Benefits of Accreditation; the TÜSKA Accreditation System; Interpretation of Accreditation Standards According to Their Purpose; Document Management and Medical Records; the Importance of Consent and Informed Consent in Accreditation; and the Evaluation of Safe Surgery Processes from the Perspective of a SAS Surveyor.
The accreditation trainings organized by TÜSKA continue to make significant contributions to ensuring that healthcare services achieve a safe, high-quality, and sustainable structure.
