Accreditation Training Has Been Conducted at Balıkesir University Health Practice and Research Hospital

An Accreditation Training was conducted at Balıkesir University Health Practice and Research Hospital on April 8–10, 2026, by the Türkiye Healthcare Quality and Accreditation Institute (TÜSKA), with the aim of improving quality and safety in healthcare services. Within the scope of on-site accreditation training programs organized for healthcare facilities, Balıkesir University Health Practice and Research Hospital was visited on this occasion.

The TÜSKA Institution-Based Practical Accreditation Training Program was attended by the Chief Physician of Balıkesir University Health Practice and Research Hospital, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bahadır Çağlar; Deputy Chief Physician, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Süha Serin; Assistant Director of Healthcare Services, Esra Toprak; Quality Management Unit staff member, Atakan Karagöz; and healthcare professionals working in various clinics. The training was delivered by Healthcare Accreditation Surveyors, Specialist Dr. Alper Fırat Polat, Specialist Nurse Hatice Orman, and Specialist Dr. Tuğba Kula Atik.

During the training, the hospital’s operations were comprehensively addressed within the framework of accreditation standards, and participants were provided with guiding information. The interactive training process also included practical applications, where compliance with accreditation standards was evaluated using patient and system tracer methodologies.

Accreditation training programs organized by TÜSKA continue to make significant contributions to ensuring that healthcare services achieve a safe, high-quality, and sustainable structure.
