Accreditation Training Has Been Conducted at Balıkesir Atatürk City Hospital

An Accreditation Training was held at Balıkesir Atatürk City Hospital on April 2–3, 2026, organized by the Türkiye Healthcare Quality and Accreditation Institute (TÜSKA) with the aim of enhancing quality and safety in healthcare services.

As part of on-site accreditation training programs for healthcare facilities, TÜSKA visited Balıkesir Atatürk City Hospital. The TÜSKA Institutional-Based Practical Accreditation Training Program was attended by Chief Physician Dr. Murat Gök, Deputy Director of Healthcare Services Yıldız Aktaş Kayabey, Quality Management Officer Nevin Şahin, staff of the Quality Management Unit, and healthcare professionals working in clinical units. The training was delivered by Accreditation Surveyors Op. Dr. Alper Fırat Polat, Esengül Purkuloğlu, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tuğba Kula Atik.

During the training, the hospital’s operational processes were comprehensively reviewed within the framework of accreditation standards, and participants were provided with practical guidance. The interactive sessions addressed compliance with accreditation standards through hands-on applications using patient and system tracer methodologies.

The accreditation trainings organized by TÜSKA continue to make significant contributions to ensuring that healthcare services achieve a safe, high-quality, and sustainable structure.
