Accreditation Training Conducted at Ürgüp State Hospital
An Accreditation Training was conducted at Ürgüp State Hospital on 22–23 June 2026 by the Türkiye Healthcare Quality and Accreditation Institute (TÜSKA) as part of its efforts to enhance the quality and safety of healthcare services. Within the scope of TÜSKA’s on-site accreditation training programs for healthcare facilities, Ürgüp State Hospital was visited to provide institution-based practical accreditation training.
The TÜSKA Institution-Based Practical Accreditation Training Program was attended by Dr. Beyza Girgin, Deputy Chief Physician of Ürgüp State Hospital; Mustafa Serhat Güzel, Administrative and Financial Affairs Manager; Selma Bilgen, Quality Director; members of the quality management unit; and healthcare professionals working at the hospital. Dr. Hakkı Taşkıran and Hamiyet Kantarcıoğlu, Healthcare Accreditation Surveyors, served as the trainers for the program.
Throughout the training, the hospital’s operational processes were comprehensively reviewed in line with healthcare accreditation standards, and participants were provided with practical guidance to support their accreditation journey. The interactive training also included hands-on assessments of compliance with accreditation standards through the application of patient tracer and system tracer methodologies.
TÜSKA’s accreditation training programs continue to make significant contributions to strengthening safe, high-quality, and sustainable healthcare services.
