Accreditation Training Conducted at Özel Rize Şar Hospital
As part of its efforts to enhance quality and patient safety in healthcare services, the Türkiye Healthcare Quality and Accreditation Institute (TÜSKA) conducted an Accreditation Training Program at Özel Rize Şar Hospital on 18–19 June 2026. Within the scope of TÜSKA’s on-site accreditation training programs designed for healthcare institutions, this session was held at Özel Rize Şar Hospital.
The Institution-Based Practical Accreditation Training Program was attended by Chief Physician Dr. Mehmet Akif Kumbuzoğlu, Head Nurse Keziban Özgür, Hospital Manager Şaban Semiz, Quality Director Dr. Salih Türkyılmaz, members of the quality management unit, and healthcare professionals working at the hospital. The training was delivered by TÜSKA Healthcare Accreditation Surveyors Prof. Dr. Ayşegül Çopur Çiçek, Ganime Sevinç, and Safiye Dinç.
During the training, the hospital’s operational processes were comprehensively reviewed in line with accreditation standards, providing participants with practical guidance on accreditation requirements. Conducted in an interactive format, the program also included hands-on evaluations of the hospital’s level
of compliance with accreditation standards through the application of patient tracer and system tracer methodologies.
The accreditation training programs organized by TÜSKA continue to make significant contributions to strengthening the safety, quality, and sustainability of healthcare services.
