Accreditation Training Conducted at Ondokuz Mayıs University Health Practice and Research Center
An Accreditation Training was conducted by the Türkiye Healthcare Quality and Accreditation Institute (TÜSKA) at Ondokuz Mayıs University Health Practice and Research Center on 12–13–14–15 May 2026, with the aim of enhancing quality and safety in healthcare services.
As part of the on-site accreditation training programs organized for healthcare institutions, Ondokuz Mayıs University Health Practice and Research Center was visited on this occasion. The TÜSKA Institution-Based Practical Accreditation Training Program was attended by Prof. Dr. İlker İlhanlı, Deputy Chief Physician of Ondokuz Mayıs University Health Practice and Research Center; Arzu Samsun, Director of Nursing Services; Figen Bakan, Quality Director; and healthcare professionals working in clinical units. Accreditation Surveyors Uzm. Dr. Seval Akbaş, Lecturer Songül Yorgun, and Şerife Alev Köksal took part in the training program on behalf of TÜSKA.
During the training process, the hospital’s operations were comprehensively reviewed within the framework of accreditation standards, and participants were provided with guiding information. Conducted interactively, the training addressed compliance with accreditation standards through practical applications using patient tracer and system tracer methodologies.
The accreditation training programs organized by TÜSKA continue to make significant contributions to ensuring that healthcare services achieve a safe, high-quality, and sustainable structure.
