Accreditation Training Conducted at Konya City Hospital


An Accreditation Training program was conducted at Konya City Hospital on 11 – 12 December 2025 by the Turkish Institute for Healthcare Quality and Accreditation (TÜSKA), with the aim of enhancing quality and safety in healthcare services.

As part of TÜSKA’s on-site accreditation training programs for healthcare facilities, the next stop was Konya City Hospital. The TÜSKA Institution-Based Practical Accreditation Training Program commenced with opening remarks by Dr. Abdullah Öztürk, Deputy Chief Physician of Konya City Hospital, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Keziban Avcı, TÜSKA Training Coordinator. The program was delivered by TÜSKA Healthcare Accreditation Surveyors: Specialist Dr. Filiz Denizli Ergen, Dr. Esra Engin, Murat Yılmaz, Dt. Esra Tokmen Asil, and Nimet Nurda Ayaz.

The training, attended by hospital management, quality unit staff, and healthcare professionals working in clinical units, included a comprehensive evaluation of hospital processes within the framework of accreditation standards. During the interactive training sessions, the level of compliance with accreditation standards was addressed in a practical manner through the use of patient and system tracing methodologies.

The accreditation training programs organized by TÜSKA continue to make significant contributions to ensuring that healthcare services are delivered in a safe, high-quality, and sustainable manner.
