Accreditation Information Session Conducted at Koşuyolu High Specialization Training and Research Hospital by TÜSKA
An Accreditation Information Session was conducted by the Türkiye Healthcare Quality and Accreditation Institute (TÜSKA) at Koşuyolu High Specialization Training and Research Hospital on 5–6 May 2026, with the aim of enhancing quality and patient safety in healthcare services.
The program was attended by Prof. Dr. Kaan Kırali, Chief Physician of Koşuyolu High Specialization Training and Research Hospital; Dilek Aydın, Director of Health and Care Services; Ömer Çelik, Director of Administrative and Financial Services; Cenk Hilmi Kılıç, Director of Support and Quality Services; hospital administrators, and healthcare professionals working in clinical units. TÜSKA representatives Dr. Özlem Eskil Çiçek and Specialist Nurse Hatice Orman took part in the information sessions.
Throughout the accreditation information program, the primary objective was to improve participants’ competencies in implementing accreditation standards in practice. In addition to theoretical knowledge,
the program was supported by on-site evaluations, contributing to institutions’ review of their current practices and identification of areas for improvement.
The program was considered to have made a significant contribution to strengthening the quality management system and increasing preparedness for accreditation processes at Koşuyolu High Specialization Training and Research Hospital. It was also emphasized that efforts would continue with determination in order to guide sustainable improvement activities throughout the institution and promote a quality-oriented service approach.
