On 24 September, during the pre-conference program, TÜSKA and the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS) held a session titled “Next Generation Accreditation in Healthcare: Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence as Solutions to Current Challenges,” which focused on the role of digital transformation and artificial intelligence in addressing contemporary challenges in healthcare.
The conference hosted 1,400 participants from 85 countries, with 400 speakers, including leading experts, representatives of national accreditation bodies, policymakers, and surveyors. They shared their knowledge and experiences on critical topics such as healthcare quality, patient safety, digital transformation, and accreditation processes. As TÜSKA, we are proud to have hosted and represented our country at the ISQua 2024 International Conference in Istanbul, which reinforced Türkiye's international recognition for its high-quality healthcare services. The conference provided an important platform to discuss the impacts and risks of global climate change, sustainability, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence in healthcare.
Held under the theme “Health for People and Planet: Building Bridges to a Sustainable Future,” this significant conference, completed with extensive participation in our country that bridges continents, is expected to guide future policies on patient and worker safety, quality, and accreditation, as determined by the World Health Organization (WHO), ISQua, and other international health authorities.
In addition to the scientific content and collaboration meetings, the conference also made significant contributions to the promotion of our country’s health and cultural tourism. Alongside social programs, hospital visits were organized. These visits provided an opportunity for knowledge exchange and the presentation of services between international hospital administrators and experts and Türkiye's hospital management.
This event, in which we hosted all global stakeholders in healthcare quality and accreditation, has strengthened our country’s leadership in this field and provided an opportunity to share our future vision on the international stage.
