The Second Training of the Webinar Series for Healthcare Accreditation Surveyors Has Been Successfully Held
The second training of the webinar series organized to enhance the knowledge, competence, and practical skills of Healthcare Accreditation Surveyors was conducted with high participation.
The training began with the opening speech of TÜSKA President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bayram Demir. Emphasizing that the organized trainings are important in terms of increasing the competence of Healthcare Accreditation Surveyors, Demir stated that specific and technical topics will be at the forefront during this training period.
Following the opening speech, the first presentation of the training was conducted by Dr. Gülsen Koralay, Head of the Survey and Training Management Unit, titled “Duties, Authorities and Responsibilities of Healthcare Accreditation Surveyors.” Within the scope of TÜSKA legislation, the presentation addressed the job descriptions, limits of authority, and areas of responsibility of surveyors, as well as TÜSKA regulations that determine the activities of Healthcare Accreditation Surveyors (SADs). In the continuation of the training, Derya Küsbeci provided information on “Procedures and Processes Related to Payments Based on the Assignment of Healthcare Accreditation Surveyors.” The briefing covered the financial aspects of the processes carried out for surveyors assigned in activities conducted by TÜSKA. After a short break, the second session of the training continued with a presentation titled “Ventilation Systems” conducted by Healthcare Accreditation Surveyor Cenk Selim Saygın. The presentation covered ventilation systems in healthcare facilities and their importance, technical specifications, maintenance processes, and issues to be considered during survey processes related to ventilation systems. The training concluded with a question-and-answer session.
