Roadmap for TÜSKA’s Quality and Accreditation Activities for Healthcare Facilities of the TRNC Has Been Established
Between February 24-27, 2025, TÜSKA conducted training and information activities for healthcare facilities under the Ministry of Health of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). Following these activities, final discussions on quality and accreditation processes were held on March 13, 2025, at the Ministry of Health between the TÜSKA delegation and the TRNC delegation.
During the meeting, chaired by TRNC Ministry of Health Undersecretary Assoc. Prof. Dr. Düriye Deren Oygar, the TRNC delegation and the TÜSKA delegation, represented by TÜSKA President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bayram Demir, Ministerial Advisor Dr. Hasan Güler, and Prof. Dr. Umut Beylik, discussed the roadmap and timeline for TÜSKA’s quality and accreditation activities for TRNC healthcare facilities. The discussions covered quality and accreditation training, quality standards, and the accreditation process for TRNC healthcare institutions under TÜSKA.
As part of its international programs, TÜSKA prioritizes supporting the TRNC healthcare system, contributing to its development, and ensuring that TRNC citizens have access to high-quality healthcare services. TÜSKA is honored to provide this support, and planning efforts within the framework of TÜSKA’s international programs are progressing rapidly.
