The Practical Training of the TÜSKA Healthcare Accreditation Surveyor Candidate Basic Training Program Has Been Completed
The practical component of the Healthcare Accreditation Surveyor Candidate Basic Training Program, organized by the Türkiye Health Care Quality and Accreditation Institute (TÜSKA), was successfully completed between June 30 and July 4, 2025.
The program, which commenced on June 30, 2025, was officially opened with speeches by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bayram DEMİR, President of TÜSKA, and Prof. Dr. Ümit KERVAN, President of the Türkiye Health Institutes Presidency (TÜSEB). On the first day of training, before entering the field, candidates received detailed presentations on the Practical Training Program by Dr. Gülsen KORALAY, “Traceability in Survey” by Specialist Elif ÖZYURT, and “Survey Methods through Case Discussions” by Prof. Dr. Umut BEYLİK.
During the training, delivered by a team of 16 expert instructors, candidates were practically trained in TÜSKA’s survey methodology within the framework of Healthcare Accreditation Standards. Through interactive sessions, topics such as survey criteria for different standards, principles and techniques of evidence collection, criteria for identifying nonconformities, evaluation metrics/levels of standard compliance, and nonconformity reporting were thoroughly addressed.
On the fourth day of the program, accreditation surveyor candidates conducted a simulation survey in the field under the supervision of trainers as part of the certification process. On the final day, they presented their survey reports to the relevant Evaluation Commission.
We hope that this training program, which aims to contribute to the development of qualified human resources to support the effective implementation of accreditation activities in healthcare services, will bring lasting value to our country.
