The Practical Section of the Basic Training Program for Health Accreditation Surveyor Candidates, organized by the Türkiye Institute for Health Services Quality and Accreditation (TÜSKA) between November 3 and November 7, 2025 was completed.

The opening speeches of the program, which started on November 3, 2025, were delivered by the President of TÜSKA, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bayram DEMİR. On the first day of the training, before the candidates proceeded to field practice, they were informed by Dr. Gülsen Koralay, Specialist Elif Özyurt, and Dr. Abdullah Öztürk on the topics of the Training Program, Patient and System Tracing, and SAS Dialysis Services.

The Practical Section of the Basic Training Program for Candidate Health Accreditation Surveyor was held at Ankara Bilkent City Hospital, Etlik City Hospital, Etimesgut Şehit Sait Ertürk Public Hospital, and Ankara University Faculty of Dentistry Hospital.

During the training process, which is conducted by expert educators in their field, candidates are provided with practical demonstrations within the scope of the TÜSKA Survey Method Health Accreditation Standards. The training covered the audit of different standards, including audit criteria, evidence collection principles and techniques, nonconformity identification criteria, assessment criteria/standard compliance level decisions, and nonconformity reporting topics using interactive methods.

On the fourth day of the training, Candidate Health Accreditation Surveyor conducted a simulated field audit under the supervision of the instructors and submitted the report of their audit to the relevant Evaluation Committee on the last day of the training.

We hope that the program, which aims to train human resources that will contribute to the effective implementation of accreditation activities in healthcare services, will be beneficial for our country.
