The Second Online Evaluation Meeting on Quality and Accreditation Processes in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Has Been Held
As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the quality management system in hospitals affiliated with the Ministry of Health of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, the second online evaluation meeting focusing on the level of compliance with standards was held on March 31, 2026.
The program was conducted by Dr. Ayhan Kalyoncu, a Member of the TÜSKA Patient and Employee Safety Scientific Committee. During the meeting, the practices required to be implemented in healthcare facilities in line with established standards were discussed in detail. The current situation, level of compliance with standards, and processes related to planned activities and procedures were thoroughly evaluated. A total of 12 representatives from healthcare institutions across the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus participated in the meeting.
It is planned that TÜSKA’s quality and accreditation efforts will continue in the upcoming period through new meetings and programs of similar scope.
