SAS Hospital Set v3 Indicator Management Guide Published
The SAS Hospital Set v3 Indicator Management Guide, prepared by Türkiye Sağlık Hizmetleri Kalite ve Akreditasyon Enstitüsü (TÜSKA), has been published on the official website following the completion of revision and approval processes and has entered into force.
The Guide has been developed to establish a systematic structure for indicator management processes in hospitals, to standardize data collection and analysis methodologies, to ensure effective evaluation of measurement results, and to strengthen continuous improvement activities.
Within the scope of the SAS Hospital Set v3, definitions, calculation methods, data sources, and analysis periods for the indicators are addressed in detail. A comprehensive framework has been established to monitor clinical, managerial, and support processes through a holistic approach. The Guide also clarifies the principles related to the preparation of indicator cards, target setting, monitoring, evaluation, and improvement activities.
Healthcare institutions evaluated under the SAS Hospital Set will conduct their indicator management activities in accordance with the procedures and principles set out in the Guide and will use it as the primary reference for measurement, analysis, and reporting processes.
The SAS Hospital Set v3 Indicator Management Guide is expected to contribute to strengthening the quality culture in hospitals, enabling performance to be monitored through objective data, and promoting continuous improvement across all dimensions of healthcare delivery, particularly in patient safety.
