Online Evaluation Meeting on Quality and Accreditation Processes Has Been Held in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus
As part of efforts to strengthen the quality management system in hospitals affiliated with the Ministry of Health of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, an online evaluation meeting addressing the level of compliance with standards was held on March 18, 2026.
The program was conducted by Specialist Dr. Ayhan Kalyoncu, member of the TÜSKA Patient and Employee Safety Scientific Committee. During the meeting, the practices that need to be carried out in healthcare facilities in line with the standards were discussed comprehensively, and the current situation, level of compliance with standards, and processes related to planned tasks and operations were evaluated in detail.
The meeting was attended by 11 representatives from various healthcare institutions across the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Discussions strongly emphasized the critical role of standard-based approaches in sustainably improving quality and safety in healthcare delivery.
TÜSKA’s quality and accreditation activities are set to continue in the coming period with new meetings and programs of a similar nature.
