First Ordinary Meeting of the TÜSKA Quality Scientific Committee Has Been Held
The first ordinary meeting of the TÜSKA Quality Scientific Committee of the Türkiye Healthcare Quality and Accreditation Institute (TÜSKA) was held on March 13, 2026, under the chairmanship of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bayram Demir, Head of the Türkiye Healthcare Quality and Accreditation Institute.
Members of the TÜSKA Quality Scientific Committee, Prof. Dr. Gülcan Coşkun Akar, Assoc. Prof. Alper Yavuz, Assoc. Prof. İsmail Şimşir, Asst. Prof. Yonca Özatkan, Specialist Dr. Murat Solmaz, Dr. Abdullah Öztürk, Lecturer Songül Yorgun, and Pharmacist Ercan Koca attended the meeting.
The meeting started with the opening speech of Assoc. Prof. Bayram Demir. During the meeting, current developments in the field of quality and accreditation in healthcare services were discussed. Existing practices and ongoing activities were evaluated from multiple perspectives by the committee members. The agenda items of the committee were discussed in detail and concluded with decisions. During the meeting, important evaluations were made that will contribute to further strengthening quality and safety in healthcare services, and it was decided to initiate the necessary processes in line with the decisions taken.
